Forms

Below is an explanation when to use the different forms.

We recommend to always create a campaign form since it will give you more options.

Standalone form

Standalone forms are good when you don't send more than one email after form submission or don't have an automation that will trigger after a form fill.

  • A good example of where Standalone forms are preferable is when sending a double opt-in verification email, since the email would be sent out instantly whereas a campaign form can take up to 15 minutes to send it

Examples of things you cannot do with a stand-alone form:

  • Set up an automation that is triggered by a form submission

  • Send out a nurturing sequence (i.e several emails spaced out in time) after form submission

This is the best form to choose if you only want to send one follow-up email to the lead and notify a user.

You set the actions directly in the form, you can read about how to and see a list of available actions here.

Campaign form

Campaign forms are used when you want to send a nurturing sequence after form submission (i.e several emails spaced out in time) or have an automation that will be triggered by the submission.

You can still set notifications to be sent out to users in the form settings.
