Test Results Interpreter: Person who can interpret instructional implications of evaluations.
Student: Student at age 16, is to be invited to the IEP as part of postsecondary transition.
Related Services: Related Services provider(s) that provide direct services or provide information about proposed additional supports.
Make sure providers have adequate time to prepare for meeting and possibility of attending IEP meeting.
Representative of Outside Agency: Person that represents another agency that is likely to provide and/or pay for transition services. When student is 16 years old, school has to have parental consent prior to invitation to meeting.
Parent may invite outside agency at any time to participate
Use for every IEP meeting to get parent permission to excuse required team members / service providers that are not in attendance
Compliance: every team member that is to be excused, including the parent, is to have parent authorization prior to the IEP meeting starting

Numerous attempts were made to contact and invite the parent to participate in the IEP meeting, including phone calls and a home visit with meeting reminders. The school still remains ready and willing to conduct an IEP meeting with the parent upon parent request.
