The team determined that STUDENT was in need additional information to help determine her educational needs based on her ability to process information and her academic achievement. She has been retained twice already. Her progress is still slow. Her reading comprehension is about 2 years below grade level. She struggles with math operations that are multi-digit and multi-step. She has difficulty with reading word math problems without help from her teacher.
The team determined that STUDENT was able to participate in the general education curriculum with the interventions that her teacher was provided and has demonstrated academic progress is being made. She is performing at or above the average range in her grade and classroom assessments.

STUDENT'S parents were not in attendance at the MET Review Meeting; however, the school will seek out their input through other means such as a home visit. His parents are continually invited to participate in the process.
