Zoom Connection Tips


  1. Check for Zoom updates (update to latest version)

  2. Restart the computer

  3. Check your network connection and ISP (Internet Service Provider) internet speed. There are internet speed apps that can determine the high and low-speed drops (Add some examples APP here) https://fast.com/

  4. Shut down other programs (including music apps or anything running on your Mac)

  5. Update your Chrome browser and limit the number of browser tabs

  6. Too many Folders and Files Are Stored on Your Desktop (move them to your Google Drive)

If students can't log in from your meeting link or have an issue with the zoom app on their chromebook, provide them with the webbrowser URL: https://zoom.us/join

You will need to provide them with the Meeting ID number and Passcode to manually input.
