On Monday, December 14, 2020, there was a Google outage that impacted Google Classroom. The Google Workspace Status Dashboard offers performance information for the following Google services. Unless otherwise noted, this status information applies to consumer services as well as services for organizations using Google Workspace.

We are monitoring our network performance, so if you experienced any type of connectivity issues, please report it to the Help Desk, and carbon copy Edward Ward and your Building Administrator.
Before reporting check the following:
A. Check to see how many applications you are running on your MacBook. Click on the Apple and go to Force Quit. (This will list the open applications currently running on your computer - Word, Excel, Chrome, Zoom, etc). If you have multiple applications running, then quit the applications you don't need.
B. Check the number of open tabs on your Chrome browser
C. Make sure you have the latest Zoom App running on your MacBook.

Meeting Features
Enhanced co-host privileges over Breakout Rooms: Co-hosts now have the same breakout room controls as the meeting host.
Move participants to main session from breakout room.
Changes to Existing Features
Changes to default behavior of desktop notifications for upcoming meetings: New users will have this setting enabled by default, reminding them of upcoming meetings through a desktop notification. Existing users will not be affected, keeping this setting as it currently is on their profile. This can be enabled through the Settings page in the Zoom web portal, or in the desktop client’s general settings.
