Task: Use your understanding of various math concepts to answer each question.
Complete as many of the twenty-one problems as time allows during class. Work ON YOUR OWN. Solve them in any order. You will need to do two tasks for each problem:
1) Write the problem in your notebook.
2) Solve the problem. You may use a calculator.
Task: Complete only the assigned problems on your answer sheet:
1) Solve problems 1 - 32 (pages 4 - 25).
Use a calculator where needed and if possible for that type of problem.
You MAY write, highlight, etc. in the test book.
DON'T feel rushed to finish.
2) Go back over each question if you finish before class is over.

Task: Complete all of the slides from the slideshow. You will need to do three tasks for each problem:
1) Drag the Base-10 pieces onto the flat.
2) Type the product in the equation. Double click on the box with the pink question mark in order to type.
3) Show the steps to solve with the standard algorithm.
EARLY FINISHER:
Solve problems on IXL CC.7
Write each problem on notebook paper or whiteboard.
Multiply using the standard algorithm (remember to ignore the decimal point).
Use a Benchmark Product to know where to place the decimal point in the actual product.
Task: Continue answering problems on your answer sheet:
1) Solve problems 33 - 53 (pages 26 - 38).
DON'T feel rushed to finish. You will have some time later today as well.
Use scratch paper and a calculator where needed.
CAN PROBLEMS WITH FRACTIONS BE SOLVED USING A CALCULATOR? MENTALLY?
