Box Sign
Box sign is a feature to finalize documents wether signatures or copies & etc! Let's jump into it! Forward to the Box website. On the left hand region please click "Sign". In this region you can have documents validated by the party needed.
Once you've entered the "Sign" section, in the upper right corner you will see an "Request Signature". Click into the "Request Signature" to proceed into the how to utilize Box sign to have yourself, managers, colleagues to sign documents or even receive a copy of said document.
After successfully adding the document that require signatures and etc for, revert to the "Signature & Fields" section on the right hand region. Within tthis region you will find multiple options on what you want to put onto the document. Wether you have a signature/date options on your document it is not needed you can still drag the signature option anywhere on the document. Signature and date are the standards on what you need to finalize your document.
In the "Signature & Fields" section you can drag your signature option to the desired spot you want it along with the date. Next, when you click onto the signature field you can specify who you want to sign this particular field.
When you click into the signature tab you dragged onto the document you will see your name and whomever other recipient you may have added to bring attention to the document.
Before you can assign the signature to someone you must add their name (ex: Patrick Jean) or their email address. After you successfully added the required parties you can then specify who you need a signature by clicking into the signature field you dragged on the document.
When you've added the additional recipient(s) you will see the option to assign the signature & etc to the party of your choosing. You can also specify if it's an required field or not.
Did you know you can specify what you want an recipient to do with your document? To achieve this step in the "Recipients" section underneath "Send Request" click on your name or your recipient(s) name.You will be able to view what role you want the recipient to finalize. Wether that is an signer, approver, receive a copy or finalize in person.
Make sure to go over your document to ensure you have the correct recipients & the correct roles. Once you have verified everything is correct in the upper right corner you will click send request. This will send an email to the recipient(s) and prompt you to begin your portion of signing the document.
After the document has successfully been sent Box is going to prompt you to sign the document. If you revert back into the main menu & click the "Sign" region you will then see "Sent Request" & "My Request". Next, you will click into the document and agree to the terms and conditions. Once you completed and agreed you will click "Begin" in the upper right corner. Once you click begin you will adopt your desired signature within the signature field. Afterwards, you will click "Sign & Finish" in the upper right corner. When this is completed it will take you back to the Box Sign page where your request lies where you will see the status of the document. Right after you sign it, it will usually signify as "In Progress" where your awaiting your recipients acknowledgement. When the document has been successfully acknowledged by all recipient(s) the status will change to "Signed". Box gives you the ability to send reminders & etc by clicking the ellipsis (...) - and that is how you utilize Box Sign!
