Ways to vary sentences...

- Write sentences of varied lengths by using both long and short sentences.

- Start sentences with different words. It's OK to start a sentence with "The", "It", "This", or "I", but using it too much can cause your reader to become bored and disengaged.

- Use different types of sentences
