On March 23rd and March 24th, the high school put on a classic theatrical piece, called Romeo and Juliet, which has been redone since Shakespeare wrote it first in about 1594-1597, a long time ago! Romeo and Juliet is about two rival families which are the Capulets, and the Montagues, Romeo being a Capulet and fair Juliet a Montague. It was a story about chasing after love no matter who or where it’s at. Since it was first performed in the late 1500s to early 1600’s, the play has always had a major tragedy, whether it’s Hamlet and literally everyone in the play dying, or something as simple as the utter destruction of a single family. The tragedy I can’t tell, for the fear of spoilers. But the Drama Club’s next piece is King Arthur, but they need people being that our current Senior class is leaving! Sign up next year and be a part of King Arthur!
