Rayleigh Library Visit

Today's adventure took us to the Library. Look how much fun we had......

Science week

At the beginning of June, the whole school had an exciting Science Week including workshops from the Science Teachers at The Fitzwimarc School. Look what a great time we had.

Food and Farming Event at Writtle College

This week, we had an amazing time at the Writtle College Food and Farming Event, organised by the Essex Agricultural Society. We took our "Princess Kate" scarecrow to enter into the competition and had the chance to look around the 5 zones that we have been learning all about in class: Food, Crops, Machinery. Livestock and Countryside.

As you can see, there was lots of information in each zone and along with our farmer guides, John and Stephen, we saw first hand what farming is all about. The live animals were really cute, the machinery was HUGE and the free samples were in abundance! Some of us even used our vegetables to make dinner that evening! Look what a great time we had....

We had a fabulous time this morning, eating cake and raising money for Macmillan Nurses. Thankyou to our wonderful PA, Mrs Parker and all the helpers who turned this into an amazing event! Look how much fun we had!
