Google Earth
Today we used Google Earth to locate different places in Rayleigh! We learned how to use the search tool as well as how to explore the maps in 2D and 3D!
Year 2 have been learning how to tell the time this week. 2M were struggling to understand the concept of a minute or longer so we set them some time trials on the gym trail to help them understand the concept of time.
It was great fun, and we got to practice our gross motor skills!

Rayleigh Clay tiles - We chose a landmark in Rayleigh, or created the Rayleigh Shield on a clay tile. We practised our rolling skills and our clay knife skills.

Play-Doh Spelling!
In Mrs V's spelling group, we have been using play-doh to learn how to contract words and use apostrophes!
We are learning how to make arrays... ask us what we use arrays for.
