We have had an amazing dat today with 'Dangerous Dan from the Mad Science Workshop. We have learned all about Dry Ice and how it can change from a solid to a gas without being a liquid! This is called sublimation. We made our own molecules from cocktail sticks and marshmallows and made our very own slime by causing a chemical reaction between PVA glue and Borax! Finally, made our own salt dough volcanoes which we will be painting and erupting soon. Watch this space for our spectacular eruptions! Take a look at our photos to see how much fun we had.

This term we have started our Year 4 Computing - We have looked at our Computing agreement and learned how to be safe online by using our SMART online guidelines.
In our Art lessons,we have been learning all about comic book art and we have studied an Artist called Lichtenstein. Comic books often use onomatopoeia or sound words to bring the illustrations to life. In lessons, we explored different POW word ideas, experimented with different shapes and colours to really make our designs jump out of the page and then we made paper templates to draw around before we painted and assembled the final piece of artwork. We love them!
