In computing, we have learned how to design a scene with a background and sprites using 2Code. We know how to make our sprites move or talk when a button is pressed or they are clicked and we know how to create a collision detection!
Look at how well our bulbs have been growing!
We water them regularly, kept them inside at night when it was frosty and make sure they are out in the sunlight all day!

Today we looked at missing box problems. We worked out how to find that missing number by 'balancing' the scales!
2M have completed their DT project of making a Fairy Tale puppet! They have designed their puppet, thinking about what they would need to complete their designs. Each child has practiced different joining techniques including using a glue gun and sewing. The children cut the felt carefully after they had created paper templates to complete their t-shirt design. They painted the spoon carefully to create their face and made their spoon stay in their puppet by using a glue gun to attach a lolly stick. They are all very proud of their designs!
