Throughout the week, we have been looking at money! In Year 4, we reminded ourselves about the currency we use in Britain including the values of the notes and coins that we use, we practiced counting totals and giving change and we had great fun taking part in our NatWest Money Sense workshop to plan a party within a budget. Take a look at our photos below to see how we got on.
We have had a fabulous time this week, reading for pleasure and investigating books! We took part in a house quiz and the Masked Reader, we dressed as our favourite book character and listened to an author who told us all about writing and who read some of her published work. Scroll through the slides to see what we have been up to...
We used our Google search skills from last half term to find out information about the Anglo Saxons, we then wrote our reports using Google Slides and used our formatting skills to change the appearance. By altering the background colour, fonts and colours of our slides and adding pictures and shapes to our work we enhanced the presentation.Â
This half term we have worked very hard to learn the words and actions to perform the Pied Piper of Hamlin Story. Our singing was fantastic and, supported by Year 3, we put on an amazing performance. Here are some of our photos.
This half term, we have been learning all about electricity and electrical circuits. We used our knowledge in DT and History to design and make an electronic quiz game. The player holds the open end of the circuit onto the question and taps the answer with the other end. If the answer in correct, the bulb will light up!

This week, we celebrated everything French. We learned Maths in French, watched a French cartoon and studied the artist Paul Cezanne, who is famous for his still life art. We tried to sketch in the Cezanne style. Look how well we did!
What a lovely end to our term. The wonderful EFPS Parents Association organised a fun clue hunt for us on the playground. If we found all of the bunnies and decoded the word, we won an Easter Egg! Thanks, PA!
