Students brainstorm ideas on how they can be kind to yourself.
Students think about how they can carry out these ideas.
Students build a 'Be Kind To Yourself' Display.

Lesson 2 - Understanding Strong Emotions.

Students investigate how emotional responses vary in depth and strength.
Students describe situations that can lead to strong emotions.
Lesson 3 - The 'Traffic light ' Game.
Students work cooperatively and energetically.
Lesson 4 - Taming Angry Feelings.

Techniques for Controlling Anger page
Textas, Pencils.
Students identify the types of events and situations that can lead to feeling strong emotions.
Students practise techniques for controlling anger and reflect on how these techniques might help them to control their emotions.
Lesson 5 - Making Apologies.
Equipment:
Well Being Book
Students focus on the impact their actions can have on others.
Students learn a technique for making a strong apology.
Equipment:
As needed depending on activities.
Students can choose what activity they would like to do.
