• • Students describe characteristics of cooperative behaviour and identify evidence of these in group activities

BE KIND TO YOURSELF DISPLAY 

Equipment:

• Activity Sheet - How can you be kind to yourself.

• Heart Template.

• Coloured Paper, Textas, Pencils.

Learning Intention: 

• Students brainstorm ideas on how they can be kind to yourself.

• Students think about how they can carry out these ideas.

• Students build a 'Be Kind To Yourself' Display.

• Students investigate how emotional responses vary in depth and strength.

• Students describe situations that can lead to strong emotions.

RRRR - Topic 3  - POSITIVE COPING

Lesson 4 - Taming Angry Feelings.

Equipment:

• Well Being Book

• Techniques for Controlling Anger page

• Textas, Pencils.

Learning Intention:

• Students identify the types of events and situations that can lead to feeling strong emotions.

• Students practise techniques for controlling anger and reflect on how these techniques might help them to control their emotions.

MINDFULNESS Activities

Equipment: 

• As needed depending on activities.

Learning Intention:

• Students can choose what activity they would like to do.

LESSON - Students choose a mindfulness activity they would like to do. Choices are mindfulness colouring / drawing, directed drawing, reading, writing, lego or playdough.
