In Term Two, our children explore the topics of Positive Coping and Problem Solving as part of the Respectful Relationships program.
Positive Coping
Our children learn to develop vocabulary and practise expressing emotions in different situations. They explore the impact of their emotional expression on self and others, and describe what it means to be confident and persistent.
Problem Solving
Our children also spend time practising the skills required to include others, and ways to problem solve in different situations. They investigate a range of problem-solving strategies, such as brainstorming, identifying options, and testing hypotheses.Â
