You have a chance to create a piece of writing of your own choice!
It could be a narrative, persuasive piece, information text or anything you would like!
Be sure to use your VCOP strategies and edit your writing so it makes sense!
Every second day you are at home, complete a journal entry.
What did you do?
Did you eat anything delicious?
Did you clean your room?
Include as much detail as possible, your teacher will read these!

Select a task that you would like to complete. This is a perfect time to take risks and try new things in your writing.
Choose someone in your house, it could be yourself.
Draw a picture of them and create a bank of adjectives you could use to describe their appearance and personality.
Try to use some synonyms of simple words to create a really specific description.
Look through the Making the Most of your Ideas slides.
When we write, sometimes we feel like we need to create a fantastic new story every time we do a narrative piece.
Work through the activities on each slide, tweaking one narrative idea to fit each different prompt.
While we are all safe at home, there are some amazing people in our community working really hard to make sure we can still access the things we need.
Write a thank you letter or card to someone that you know is doing something special to help keep people safe. It could be to:
Someone that works at the local shops;
A family member who is staying and helping you learn at home;
A doctor/nurse;
Someone else you know that is doing something you think is pretty fantastic.
