Mindfulness is the idea of paying attention to the present moment with openness and curiosity. Here are some ideas of some activities that promote mindfulness.
Colouring, listening to music, blowing bubbles (focus on taking a deep slow breath to steadily fill the bubble) and origami.
Follow the tutorial to make an origami dog. This might be challenging, so you'll have to use your character strength of perseverance. Ask your mum or dad to pause the video if you need a bit more time.
The Feelings Book
Watch the story and identify some of the feelings the characters felt. Which feelings/emotions can you sort into the zones: blue, green, yellow and red?
Can you do something kind for someone in your family today?
Can you play a game where you have to use teamwork?
Can you use your bravery to try something new or challenging?
