The school counsellor Mrs Lean is trained to help students and their parents deal with problems that are causing concern. Students may self refer to the counsellors directly by using the self-referral QR code or through their Student Adviser. The Head Teacher Welfare Mrs Murray is also available to assist students find solutions to problems with school, friends or at home, referring students to other sources of help where necessary.
Jordon Umbaro and Piper Robertson are the Aboriginal Education Officers. They are found in the Koori Hub at the top of D Block. Marty Jones is the Student Support Officer and Sam Mulkurti is the Caseworker for Support in Schools. They are found in the Wellbeing Hub in B Block.
All students will meet the Teacher Librarian Ms Lynch. Some of you will also work with the Learning Support Teachers, Mrs Schreiber, Mrs Anderson and Mrs Smith, and possibly one or more of the school’s learning support officers. As you move into Years 9 - 12, you will have increasing contact with the Careers Adviser Mrs Fellows. The Careers Room is on the top floor of A Block, just next to the Ted Drake Room.
If you have concerns about what other students are saying to you or about you, you may wish to speak to the school’s Discrimination and Anti-Racism Contact Officer Mrs Dare (Mathematics staffroom).
The school’s sports organisers are Mrs White (PDHPE Staffroom) and Mrs Lawson (PDHPE Staffroom).
The English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) teachers are Mrs Anderson, Mrs Gyles, Mrs Gunter, Mrs Guilfoyle and Mrs Higgins (EAL/D Staffroom).
