Banned Items

BANNED ITEMS

There are items that you should not bring to or use at school. The list of banned items below gives you an idea of most of these. Some of them will be confiscated like mobile phones, but others attract immediate serious consequences.

• • Aerosol cans [deodorant, hair spray etc]

  • Metal rulers and other sharp or dangerous objects

  • Tobacco, cigarettes, matches, lighters, vapes, e-cigarettes

  • Skateboards, scooters, blades, skates

  • Personal gaming devices, laser pointers, yo-yos

  • Liquid paper, permanent textas

  • Water bombs, stink bombs

  • Studded belts and wristbands

  • Clunky jewellery, long or large looped earrings

  • Clothes, hats, bags, etc with logos or slogans which are offensive or which advertise drugs or alcohol

In addition to the above items, the following are illegal and are treated as ‘special cases’: If you bring to school or are in possession at school of pornography, fireworks, weapons, drugs or alcohol, an automatic suspension will result.
