Valuables are your responsibility!
We strongly advise that you don’t bring them to school at all. If they are lost, stolen or damaged, there will be little or no follow-up from the school.
Can I bring my mobile to school?
Mobile phones are like other valuables. However, if you do bring your phone to school, you are not allowed to use it during class time unless it is for educational purposes under the direction of your teacher. Our policy is ‘off and away’. ‘Using’ a phone means having it in your hands, receiving or making a call or text message, checking the time, taking a photo or having it ring in your bag or pocket. The rule is simple: leave your phone turned off and in your bag and don’t take it out when you are in class unless it is for educational purposes under the direction of your teacher. Failure to follow this direction will result in the phone being handed to a Deputy for the remainder of the day. If you have your phone sent to the Deputy 3 or more times a year, your parent will need to collect your phone.
