Students who do not have a device will be able to take out a 'day loan’ or ‘long-term loan’ from the library. For a ‘day-loan’ Students can go to the library between 8.30am and 9:00am to request a laptop and return the device after the final bell (or during lunch on Thursday).
If a student fails to return a day-loan device on time, they may be restricted from borrowing for the remainder of the week. If a student repeatedly fails to return a day-loan laptop, they may lose access to the facility for the remainder of the term.
Students whose families do not have the financial means to purchase a device may be eligible for a ‘long-term’ loan. This application is submitted to the Principal. Upon permission being granted, a student will be able to borrow a ‘long-term’ loan laptop. The student is responsible for charging and the safekeeping of the device. The student must return the device on their last day of attendance each term so that necessary updates can be completed.
