Students in Mr. Miller's Chemistry class created their own periodic tables.
Liberty celebrated World Mental Health Day. Led by our very own school social worker, Ms. Eschette, there was music, information, and games for students and staff at lunch. Some lucky students even won prizes for finding the green scavenger hunt mental health facts.
If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, you can always connect with our school social worker or one of our four school counselors.
Members of the Chick Fil A Leadership Academy had their first meeting with our sponsoring location on Burbank. #Opportunity #Equity #Service #Integrity #Community

Seniors: During the Fall Break, think about researching and applying to colleges. Refer to the 12th Grade Counselor Presentation for the links to The Common App (slide 17), The Common Black College App (slide 18), or log into your SCOIR account through Clever and go to the Discover tab and explore several colleges.
Also, there is The Common App Guide resource through College Wise that is in your Senior Coogle Classroom (Classwork, Materials, posted 9/11) and it really can help if you have questions as you complete the Common App. Don't forget to look at slide 36 if you need your Counselor's link to the "Senior Brag Sheet" for a letter of recommendation or the link to send off documents to your colleges.
Finally, although the 2024-2025 FAFSA won't be available until sometime in December, you and your parent can create your FSA ID which will serve as your electronic signature and access to your FAFSA. Both you and your parent will need a FSA ID tied to each of your personal email addresses and cell phone numbers. Don't forget about $$$ and look at the Scholarship slide (34) for free scholarship search engines.
