Important Information
REVISED DISMISSAL & RELEASE PLAN
Where's The Buss App
Parents, please review information regarding how parents and students can download the Where's The Bus App to track busses.
Please note:
The phone number must be entered into a certain field in JCampus. About 35% of primary contact numbers are currently NOT in the required field on the student record. Using information from last week's transportation audit, the LMHS clerical team is working to copy those numbers in the miscellaneous field. This may take up to a week.
You will be able to track the assigned bus. You might not be able to track a trail bus or a bus a driver is using that does not match the assigned number. Reliability may be limited at this time.
OPEN HOUSE PLAN (THIS TUESDAY!)
Open House
Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, August 22 from 5:30pm - 7:30 pm.
Open House at Liberty works a little differently than most. During the 5:30 - 7:30 window, you can attend as much or as little as you find necessary. In addition to teacher meet-and-greet availability, we will be hosting 8 different workshops for parents.
We will also have a number of community partners on site to explain the programs and resources they provide to students and families.
9th/10th Grade Dual Enrollment Update
All families of 9th and 10th grade students need to review the update from Ms. Thanni-Irvin and Ms. Landor regarding class start times (Monday) and how to track grades and support learning.
It is imperative that students and families are prepared for the start of Dual Enrollment courses this week.
23-24 EBRPSS Handbook
Included here you will find the digital copy of the updated 2023-2024 EBRPSS Rights and Responsibilities Handbook.
Club Week
Clubs add significant value to students high school experience. They create leadership opportunities, build community, teach students to work together, and provide students with a positive experience with people who share a common interest.
This week is club sign-up week. All students will sign up for clubs, and club meetings are held monthly during the school day.
Homecoming Court
There will be a mandatory parent meeting for any student who wishes to run for the 2023 Liberty Magnet High School Homecoming Court. This meeting will be August 28 at 8am in the school cafeteria. There we will review campaign guidelines and expectations for members of the court. Any student wishing to qualify to run for court must have a parent/guardian represented at the meeting.
