A throwback to Homecoming Week and Ms. Gonzales' class banner that took first prize in the HC Banner competition.  Her class won a party for their victory.

We are proud of our Patriots heart of service!  Students from the Computer Science Honor Society, Girls Who Code Club and AP Computer Science class coded with the first graders at Magnolia Woods Elementary School.  For a majority of the first graders, it was the first time they had tried programming.

You rock!  The Liberty Magnet High School Beta Club spent this week collecting, hand painting, and hiding rocks around the school as well as local neighborhoods, businesses, hospitals, etc. Each rock has a unique inspirational quote or image to promote kindness and service.

Breiya Greenwood, Chloe Richardson, Alyssa Hunter and Jude Jones submitted artwork for the 48th Annual Downtown Kiwanis Club Pancake Festival Art Show this past Saturday. Breiya and Alyssa were both awarded Honorable Mentions.

Congratulations to the LMHS Swim Team. They competed in the Capital City Swim Prelims this weekend. Both Aaron Butler and Alana Jackson represented Liberty in the finals and were team captains in the school showcase.


The swim team is comprised of Aaron Butler, Ryan Williams, Jaxon Coleman, Alana Jackson, Summer Zilatis, an Chloey Scott.

If you or an organization you are a part of can help one of our Region 4 Partner Schools, please contact the principal of the Southdowns Pre-K Center, Ms. Shalika Scott.  These 3 and 4 year olds need a bright and vibrant learning environment.  The school is located in the neighborhood with Liberty, about 2 minutes from the school.

SENIOR INFORMATION

Seniors Only! Nicholls State University has invited 50 Liberty Magnet High School Seniors to tour their campus on November 28,2023. If you are interested in touring the campus, please complete the google form in its entirety. The form will close on Sunday, November 12,2023. Confirmation emails will be sent no later than November 14,2023 to everyone that has been selected to attend the campus tour. Confirmation emails will be sent to parents and students with field trip details.  Space is limited, if you have already selected your school, please save space for those seniors still making a decision.
