PLC Process with Focus on Standards-based Results

PLC Stages: BHS Resource

Each content-based PLC team has aligned their weekly meetings to exploring instruction, assessment, and intervention toward the priority standards.

Step 1: Each team gets certified on their PLC "goals"

Step 2: Each group recognizes priority standards for the course

Step 3: PLC team Cycles through (using agendas) planning instruction, common assessments, data analysis from common assessments, interventions on standards

2021-22 Focus: PLC Stages 4 & 5 - For each scale, PLCs are defining what constitutes a 3.0 & 2.0 and are calibrating their scoring using student samples. These documents have become integral to us being able to have common expectations for learning while allowing for student ownership and personalization of assessment.
