What is Norski Travel Club?

Next Norski Travel Club trip is to France and Switzerland, summer of 2027 with Ms. Joyes! 

Norski Travel Club is for students interested in travel, especially those that are interested in going on school trips (such as the recent July 2025 trip to AU/NZ) and future school trips. 

The Norski Travel Club is dedicated to opening the world to all students by providing inclusive, equitable, and enriching travel experiences. Our mission is to inspire curiosity, foster cultural understanding, and create meaningful educational connections that support personal growth. We believe every student should have the opportunity to explore new places, engage with diverse cultures, and expand their perspectives through authentic, hands-on learning beyond the classroom. 

Each year we travel, there will be various meetings and fundraising opportunities that students will need to participate in. Norski Travel Club trips are led by various DeForest Area School District staff. 

How does Norski Travel Club benefit students?

Norski Travel Club allows students to have the opportunity to expand their global awareness through travel, especially if they are not taking a World Language and might not have another opportunity to travel through the school. Traveling fosters personal growth, cultural awareness, adaptability and independence skills.
