What is Drama Club?
The purpose of Drama Club is to build confidence, grow connections, and to develop an appreciation for the arts and literacy. Drama club participates in a number of community events including face painting at Riverfest, Haunted Library, and more. Drama Club attends theatrical performances and professional workshops as well. Drama Club also hosts a 3 week children's summer drama camp.
When does Drama Club meet?
Drama Club meets during Flex Time and will meet outside of standard school hours.
How does Drama Club benefit students?
For many people, Drama Cub is a life long commitment. Some students begin their involvement in 2nd grade with summer drama, continue on through high school, and even move on to college and professional theater/technical theater. Drama Club promotes confidence, public speaking skills, literacy, and life lessons.Â
