What is FFA?
FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. FFA is an intra-curricular organization, therefore students must have at least one agriculture course in high school in order to be a member. Please see DeForest AG & FFA for more information!
When does FFA meet?
FFA meets monthly inside and outside of school hours. FFA participates in various out of school competitions, conferences, and service activities.
How does FFA benefit students?
FFA develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences. FFA gives members the tools to achieve real-world success. FFA is especially beneficial to students that are future farmers, chemists, veterinarians, government officials, entrepreneurs, bankers, international business leaders, teachers and premier professionals in many career fields.
