What is BSU?
BSU's goal is to create a supportive and empowering space for students, while also promoting cultural awareness and understanding within the wider school community. Additionally, BSU works to educate the school district and community about Black history, culture, current events, and to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
When does BSU meet?
DSU meets bi-weekly during Flex Time and outside of standard school hours.
How does BSU benefit students?
BSU fosters leadership development, providing a platform for sharing experiences and celebrating culture. BSU provides a safe place for inclusion and for students to speak their mind.
