What is Robotics Team?
The Robotics Team enables students to participate in competitions around the state. This promotes preparation for careers in engineering, computer science, math and robotics. As a team, we compete in 4 matches. Participating students will also be mentoring robotics students in the 5-8 grades.
When does Robotics Team meet?
Team practices will be held on Mondays from 5-7:30 pm. Meets are throughout the season which runs from September through February. If students qualify for state, practices will continue through March.
How does Robotics Team benefit students?
STEM is the future for students. Participating in Robotics Team teaches the real-world skills of problem-solving, collaboration, perseverance and high level critical thinking while using the practical skills of engineering, math and computer science. Students compete with like-minded high-schoolers from around the state. If qualified for Worlds Competition, students have the ability to compete with students from around the world.
