What is DSU?
DSU's goal is to educate the Deforest Area School District and our community on disabilities as well as showing support to students with disabilities. DSU is welcoming to students with different capabilities, allies, and promotes the capability of ALL students.Â
When does DSU meet?
DSU meets monthly during Flex Time and outside of standard school hours.
How does DSU benefit students?
DSU fosters an inclusive school and community environment. This club provides a safe space for ALL students so that they can reach their potential and feel valued in their community. DSU plays a vital role in raising awareness about disability issues, fostering community, and offering support networks.
