When you take a picture on your iPhone or iPad, the file format deflaut is High Efficiency Image File (HEIF). The HEIF format makes it it diffcult to share images, especially to Google. As an Apple user, you can easily change the deflaut (HEIF) to JPEG, the friendly file format. Below are screenshots for the steps to take to modify this setting. These images might be slightly different from the most recent iOS as Apple is always changing!
