Getting Started with Digital Interactive Notebooks
If you're interested in learning how to set up a digital notebook "from scratch" in google slides, take a look at this 32:45 minute video. Full of great tips & tricks.
Ready-to-Go Google Slides Notebook Template
Here's a google slides notebook layout that's already set up. Click on the link to open the file and then save a copy for your own use.
Consider starting small, perhaps just 1 notebook section for one lesson to begin with. Edit your copy with text, images, text boxes for student responses, for your science investigation. Share that file with your students in google classroom so that a copy is made for each student. They do the work in their copy and you can see the work.
Setting Up Digital Notebooks So You Can Update Them
One challenge of this type of digital notebook is that once you've shared so that students have their own copy, you typically can't update or add to it.
This 10:06 minute video shows how you can set up a master copy and update it so that updates are made to student copies.
