Students will choose from the other forms of transportation from other countries and which of any do we need here in Dallas and why in a poster.
Choose: Students will choose what they learn about different types of transportation and decide if/which transportation would be useful in their community.
Act: Students will act on their wonderings to learn about how transportation is crucial to their environments and their lives.
Reflect: Students will reflect on their reasoning behind their responses in order to make connections to what they have learned throughout the unit and the year.
Voice: Students will be researching the differences in types of transportation. Students will also discuss and present how transportation has changed over the years and how it has affected our environment.
Choice: Students will choose the form of transportation that they feel is necessary for their community.
Ownership: Students will present why they believe their community needs a new form of transportation.
Causation: The understanding that things do not just happen, that there are causal relationships at work, and that actions have consequences.

Reading: non-fiction texts, research chosen topics, Text features.
Math: order of number, composing and decomposing numbers
Science: Learning to pay attention to detail and learning to inquire about things you do not know.
Social Studies: Understanding the chronological order of events that have happened or will happen in the future
Art: Taking actions, they will create a poster adding some pictures
