As part of the Erasmus+ programme, 20 students from Bakalka Brno Primary School in the Czech Republic visited our school, Cserepka School in Pécs, from 12 to 16 October 2026.

We welcomed them with a varied programme of activities designed to help our guests discover our country, city and school. The students had the opportunity to experience what it is like to be in Year 7 at Cserepka for a few lessons. They also visited the City Hall, Zrínyi Castle in Szigetvár, and the TV Tower. A range of leisure activities gave them plenty of opportunities to communicate in English, including a board game party and a bowling outing with our Czech guests.

Our Cserepka students will visit Brno in April 2027 with the aim of further strengthening the relationship between the two schools, learning more about each other’s cultures and traditions, and creating even more shared memories.

To celebrate this year’s Erasmus Days, we are delighted to share how learning together, discovering different cultures and sharing experiences bring students from different countries closer to one another!

This year we are also joining the Erasmus Days program series. This year, our 11th grade students participated in the Youth in Europe program, where they learned about the opportunities they have throughout Europe.

In October, our students visited the city of Benalmádena in Spain, and worked on a project related to Sustainability.
