As part of the Erasmus+ program, 14 students and 2 teachers traveled to the city of Kalamata, Greece, between April 14 and 21, 2024.
The students enthusiastically participated in the lessons, where they learned in detail about Greek history, literature and art. Especially memorable for them was the visit to the traditional Greek theater and the discovery of the ruins of Olympia, where they could get a glimpse of the secrets of Greek antiquity.
In addition to experiences, gastronomy also played an important role during the trip. The students had the opportunity to taste the famous Greek gyros, as well as enjoy the offer of restaurants on the beach.
The cooperation and friendly atmosphere between students and teachers was typical throughout the trip. The Greek hosts were especially kind and helpful, which contributed to enriching the experience. The students had the opportunity to test their English language skills in real situations.
The Erasmus+ student mobility created the opportunity for 14 Greek students to participate in the program, so they too could share their cultural traditions and values with our students. As a result, both sides have become richer through experience and closer relations have developed between the countries.
Overall, during the student mobility, not only did the students' knowledge of Greek culture expand, but their understanding and tolerance of different cultures also increased.
