This school year, our school's first self-organized international Job Shadowing program took place between February 23-27 within the framework of Erasmus+. During the program, 6 teachers arrived at our school, from Croatia, Spain and France. During the week, our foreign guests were able to get to know the Hungarian education system, the specific features of our school (especially its sports school character) and Pécs and its surroundings. On the first day, after the opening, they toured the school, then gave school presentation lectures where we also had the chance to get to know their schools better. On Monday afternoon, our colleagues also showed the participants around downtown Pécs. Within the framework of the professional program, the visiting teachers were able to observe a total of 18 classroom sessions, which were held by our enthusiastic colleagues, often in parallel in English and Hungarian. The program of the last day was a knowledge-sharing workshop, where our teachers presented 8 pedagogical good practices of our school. At the end of the Job Shadowing week, our guests returned to their countries with a desire for future collaboration. We believe that international knowledge sharing will continue to be an important pillar of our school in the future, and that this was not the last professional week. We would like to thank the participants, our teachers and the management for their cooperation in making this high-quality event possible!
