From September 24 to October 1, 2022, we traveled to Malaga, Spain with a high school group of 10 people. The age of the students was 16-17 years. We traveled to Budapest by a separate bus, after an almost 4-hour flight from Liszt Ferenc Airport, we arrived in the Andalusian capital, where we were welcomed by our project manager, Natascha Kaviratna. We took a shuttle bus from the airport to the Malaca Instituto.
Most of the professional programs formally took place in the framework of professional visits and extracurricular project sessions. As a cultural program, on Sunday we took part in a full-day trip to Nerja and Frigilana, and in Málaga we visited Picasso's birthplace.
As accompanying teachers at the host institute, we took part in job shadowing, where we got ideas for teaching the foreign language.
Many foreigners study Spanish at the Malaca Instituto, and the students had the opportunity to make international contacts during their free time.
At the end of the project, the students gave presentations in German in pairs about their experiences here. It was instructive how the Spanish-German-Hungarian situation and solutions were compared.
