Between May 12 and 16, 2025, our school hosted a special event: we organized an international week within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, during which we hosted Croatian guests. The aim of the event was to internationalize our school, strengthen cultural relations, shape the students' attitudes and develop their foreign language competences.
During the week, Croatian primary school students and their teachers visited our institution. The participants were able to gain insight into the everyday life of our school, take part in lessons, and get to know the Hungarian education system in an interactive way. Together with our guests, we participated in numerous cultural programs, including city tours, museum visits, and traditional performances.
During the week, we also organized various workshops, where students could work together on projects, developing their creativity, cooperation skills, and language skills. During the joint work, friendships were formed, which we hope will last in the long term.
This international week was an excellent example of the objectives of the Erasmus+ program: it promoted international dialogue, provided an opportunity to build intercultural relations, and contributed to strengthening the openness of our school.
The Cserepka School will continue to strive to further expand its international relations through similar programs and provide its students with as many opportunities as possible to learn about the world.
