Between May 12-16, 2025, the students who previously hosted our students in Busto Arsizio visited our school. The aim of the event was to internationalize our school, strengthen cultural relations, and shape the students' attitudes and develop their foreign language skills.
During the week, we welcomed Italian high school students. The participants were able to gain insight into the everyday life of our school, take part in lessons, and get to know the Hungarian education system in an interactive way. We participated in numerous cultural programs with the guests, including city tours, museum visits, and traditional performances. They visited Szigetvár Castle, where the castle's knights presented Hungarian border castle traditions and 16th-century fighting methods within the framework of a costume and weapon display.
During the week, we also organized various workshops where students could work together on projects, developing their creativity, collaboration skills and language skills. During the joint work, friendships were also formed, which we hope will last in the long term.
This international week was an excellent example of the objectives of the Erasmus+ program: it promoted international dialogue, provided an opportunity to build intercultural relations, and contributed to strengthening the openness of our school.
Our school will continue to strive to develop an even broader international network of contacts through similar programs in the future, and to provide our students with more and more opportunities to learn about the world.
