Spring 2023 Middle School Concert

For the first time since December 2019, our middle school concert was able to take place in person in the auditorium at Cresskill MS/HS.  It was a wonderful night to celebrate the great music our students made as well as the fact that we are finally back home, for good!  This concert featured our middle school concert bands, concert choir, jazz band and vocal ensemble as well as the MS/HS Orchestra.  The majority of these students had never performed on this stage prior to this event, as they were in elementary school the last time we had concerts at CMS/CHS.  During this concert, we had the opportunity to invite 11th grader Philip Om to the stage to conduct the jazz band's 3rd piece, "Moondance."  Philip has been student directing the MS Jazz Band since February in collaboration with Mr. Verderese and has been doing a wonderful job.
