While a student at Cresskill High School, Sarah was a key member of the music department. She played the clarinet in many of our groups and held a number of leadership positions. In addition to being a part of the concert band and the marching band throughout her four years of high school, she was also in the pit orchestra and clarinet quartet for 2 years. Sarah earned a position as the clarinet section leader for two years, and was voted in by her peers as the band treasurer for one year and the president as a senior. To this day, Sarah says that she has made some of her closest friends during her time in Band at CHS.
After graduation from CHS in 2019, Sarah moved on to pursue a BA in biology and a minor in child and adolescent mental health studies. Upon graduating in 2023, she will continue her education at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University to pursue her MD.
Sarah is still involved in music, having joined her church's praise band as a piano lead and vocal support. She also took up a new hobby during COVID, teaching herself to play guitar, which is now something Sarah looks to in her free time to have some extra musical fun.
