George Athanasopoulos 

George Athanasopoulos was a member of the band all throughout middle and high school, serving as a member of the trumpet section in the Marching Band as well as the Concert Band.  George was lucky enough to be involved in three trips with the Music Department during his high school years. He traveled to Hershey Park, performed with the Marching Band at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and also participated in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C.  George sites various Marching Band activities as his favorite memories during his music career at CHS including performing at the NJIC State Varsity Football finals at Metlife Stadium in 2014 as well as all the other weekly football games that he participated in. 

George spent 2 years at Bergen Community College taking courses in the field of Dietary Aide.  He currently works at Monster Mini Golf and at Careone and can be seen at many Cresskill music events, as an active supporter of Cresskill’s music program.
