Students will receive an email with their unique course evaluation link in the morning of the last session of the course.
For one day courses this means that they will receive the email before the course starts, and even if they do not attend.
The evaluation form link remains active until a few weeks after the end of term.
Please remind your students to check for the course evaluation email and to complete the course evaluation as soon as they can.
You will be able to see students’ comments about the course in ontrack, in the My Course Feedback section. The course evaluation feedback database is updated with new feedback every Friday.
(1) Click on the My Course Feedback link on the left side menu.
You will see a list of all courses which have student feedback.
If a course isn't listed, it means that there isn't any feedback for it yet.
(2) Click on the course title to see the student feedback summary for that course.
The top section counts the star ratings for each of the headings. Only the first Overall course rating is mandatory, therefore there may be fewer responses for the other headings.
In this example, 3 students gave the course 5 stars, and 1 student gave it 4 stars.
If students decide to write a comment for your, these will be displayed in the Student Comments section.
The course evaluation form consists of the following sections:
Section 1 The first section is about the learning experience on the course. Teachers see an anonymised summary of this section in ontrack.
Section 2 The second section is about safeguarding.
Section 3 The third section is an optional section if students had additional learning support/access. Only the AIS team see this feedback.
Section 4 This section is about student motivations to do the course, what they gained from the course and what they plan to do next.
Section 5 Students can write a course review which are reviewed and published on the City Lit website by the marketing team.
Section 6 The last section is about the overall City Lit experience, giving students a chance to give feedback about the building, our communication, our services etc.
