🌿 GreenScape Hub– Nurturing Nature, Enriching Minds
As part of our commitment to sustainability and holistic education, Christ College of Science and Management is proud to inaugurate its Herbal Garden, a green initiative undertaken by the Department of Computer Science. This thoughtfully curated space is home to a variety of medicinal and aromatic plants, each chosen for their traditional value and ecological significance.
The Herbal Garden serves as a living laboratory, inspiring students and faculty to connect with nature, understand the importance of native herbs, and promote eco-conscious practices. More than just a green space, it is a symbol of our dedication to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly in the areas of Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Quality Education (SDG 4), Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12), and Climate Action (SDG 13).
Through this initiative, we aim to foster environmental awareness, integrate sustainability into our academic framework, and encourage students to take meaningful action towards a greener, healthier future.
