Film Noir was a style or genre of cinematographic film marked by a mood of pessimism, fatalism, and menace. It used intense light and shadow to evoke moody, mysterious ambiance, especially in old timey detective movies and American thrillers.

This project option allows you to explore how to use light, shadow, and color to create unique moods in an image. You will learn how to manipulate lighting angles, size, distance and hue to create a desired effect.
