Today, you will be reading the article below and taking notes on the different types of lighting
As you read, take notes on the following in your website:
What are the two main types of light? Define them.
How is lighting different in the middle of the day vs. the end or beginning? How does the light change if it is overcast that day?
For all of the types of light, write down the definition of that type of lighting, when it is used/what effect does it have, and paste an example picture next to it (don't just take an image from the article, find a new one online)

Front light (flat light)
Backlight
Soft light
Hard light
Rim light
Loop lighting
Broad lighting
Short lighting
Butterfly lighting
Split lighting
Rembrandt lighting
Once you have finished taking notes on the article, go on Unsplash or Google and find 15 images that you think have interesting lighting. Paste those images at the bottom of your notes in a section called "Lighting Inspiration."
Definition:
This is a form of backlighting, where the light is at an angle from behind or above. The light will hit your subject in a way that creates a glowing outline or highlight around the subject
When it is used/what effect it has:
Used to create definition around your subject and distinguish it from the background
Student has taken notes on all of the types of lighting and answered each question (20 points)
Student has pasted 15 photos with interesting lighting underneath their notes and titled this section "Lighting Inspiration" (10 points)
