A New Perspective

Instructions

You will have 3 class periods to work on this assignment! It is a competition, so show me your best work :)

1. This assignment will be done in pairs! Choose a partner you would like to work with now.

   1. 1. 1. While you will still be submitting your own work, you will work together to brainstorm ideas and use each other to hold props, be models, etc.

2. In your pairs, you will be taking several pictures that showcase an interesting perspective. These can be either forced perspective shots or just a picture of a scene, object, or person from a unique angle.

3. You will need to take at least 9 pictures each!

   1. 1. 1. You are allowed to take pictures at home!

4. Each person will edit their top 3 favorite images in Lightroom.

5. Once you have finished, post all 9 of your original photos and your 3 edited versions on your website in a subpage called "A New Perspective."

6. This is a competition! On the last day, I will have you all submit your group's top 2 images (one from each person) to a presentation, and the class will vote on which images are the best/most creative! The group that wins gets a prize! Good luck!

Criteria (45 points)

1. Student has posted their 9, unedited photos. (10 points)

2. Each photo showcases a unique perspective, meaning it is either a forced perspective shot or just a picture of a scene, object, or person from a unique, creative angle. (20 points)

3. Student has edited 3 of their 9 photos. Editing is not over/under exposed or over/under saturated. (15 points)
