Relatedly, we also want you to be aware that we have worked with our grade-levels to come up with a plan for the rare days when we have a teaching position unfilled (we have been having great success with ESS being able to fill the vast majority of teacher absences). In this situation, we are dividing up the class with the unfilled teaching position among the remaining teachers on the grade level to ensure all students on the grade-level are receiving quality instruction based on their grade-level's standards. We wanted you all to be aware in case your child comes home one day to say that they had a different teacher. Again, we do hope this need will be rare.
